Privacy Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
This policy explains what denverwindow.com collects, why, who receives it, and what you can require us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who we are
denverwindow.com publishes window cost guides and a dated directory of local companies for the Denver metro. We are not a contractor. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Information you send by email
If you email [email protected] we keep the message, your email address, and whatever you chose to include, so we can reply. This site does not collect quote requests through a form.
Information collected automatically
- The page you viewed, the referring site, browser type and country, in aggregate
- Your IP address and request data, which the host sees in order to serve the page
We do not collect payment details, Social Security numbers, or any government identifier. We never ask for them.
Why we collect it, and who receives it
Email is used to answer you. This site does not operate a quote form and does not pass contact details to contractors. If you contact a company named in the directory, that company's own privacy practices apply to whatever you send them.
Tools we use
- We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites. It records the page, referrer, browser type and country, in aggregate.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and handles security. It sees your IP address and request data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or list brokers.
- We do not collect quote requests on this site.
- We do not add you to a marketing newsletter.
Calls and text messages
This site does not place calls or send text messages. If you contact a company listed in the directory, that company's own practices apply.
Cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies, and these pages do not load advertising tags. Microsoft Clarity, described below, sets cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which will not break this site.
This site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use pages, through heatmaps and session recordings with typed text masked. It sets cookies. Microsoft processes the data under its privacy statement.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept long enough to answer you and to handle a privacy request. You can ask us to delete an email record.
Your rights in Colorado
Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents have the right to confirm whether we process their personal data and to access it; to correct inaccuracies; to delete it; to obtain a portable copy; and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. Colorado also requires us to honour a recognised universal opt-out mechanism, including the Global Privacy Control signal, and we do.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the phone number or email address you used. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
Rights in other states
Residents of California, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have broadly similar rights, including access, deletion, correction and opting out of sale or targeted advertising. Use the same email address and tell us which state you live in.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe we hold a child's information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your choices and requests
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email [email protected].
Changes
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page.
